Ana Francisca Monteiro

I am a senior researcher at CIPES - Centre for Research in Higher Education Policies (University of Porto and University of Aveiro) and I collaborate with CIEd - Research Centre in Education (University of Minho), where I did my PhD. Since my PhD, I have carried out three professional activities: researcher in the field of digitisation policies in higher education and e-learning; senior educational technician dedicated to pedagogical innovation and internationalisation of higher education (HE), in the framework of a European inter-university alliance; science management and communication for two research centres, one of them in the framework of a European Research Council project.

My broad and multidimensional experience has resulted in a broad knowledge of Higher Education at national and European level. In addition to scientific publications, participation in research projects, organization of scientific events, teaching and training duties and curriculum design, my experience includes grant writing, project management support, support for the editing of a scientific journal, and science communication activities, including social media management.
