• Developing and sustaining positive relationships with Government entities and a range of local community and citizen groups;

• Translation of ethnographic and field research findings into learning and action for the acceleration of lab activities;

• Design specific field research and participatory methods to focus on the most vulnerable populations and those not usually engaged in public policy debates on development methods; • Explore, document, and increase understanding on emerging methods of tapping into collective intelligence for sustainable development.

• Convene the processes of solution intake, assessment and designing prototypes for diffusion;

• Conduct field research to determine the best methods to make solutions transferable;

• Test the solutions and potential ideas in a real-life context to understand potential channels of spreading (including identifying private and public sector venues for uptake);

• Design methods for integrating collective intelligence into the UNDP program and engage with program and project managers to translate ideas into concrete practice.

• Undertake cultural and behavioral analyses for the accelerator lab portfolio of experiments

• Advise on the accelerator lab’s experiment portfolio to ensure experiments are designed based on people’s knowledge, behaviors and peer to peer methods of managing and diffusing knowledge about sustainable development issues;

• Convene a broad range of new partners with UNDP including artists, community organizers and emergent movements to explore areas for collaboration on sustainable development.

• Lead communication efforts and proactively use blog and social media to share findings from field research;

• Ensure UNDP’s communication efforts respect privacy and ethics considerations;

• Liaise with the broader Accelerator Lab network and the support team to share learnings and insights from the country-specific experience;

• Help embed solutions mapping lead user methodology within the CO portfolio, design and provide trainings that include various methodologies and steps to identify and work with lead users.

• Assistance the Head of Office in evaluating the level of risk and assessing the existing security measures for the UNHCR staff, operations and premises.
• Liaise with the local Government and state security forces such as the National Police the Army and other Security forces.
• Be aware of security protocols and procedures in place, especially those comprising Security Risk Management (SRM) and Residential Security Measures (RSM)
• Support NGO partners in line with the Saving Lives Together (SLT) policy.
• Check for compliance and advise management on any deficiencies.
• Assist in efforts to ensure the physical protection and security of refugees and other persons of concern.
• Assist in the monitoring, updating and reporting of security related incidents.
• Assist in the processing of administrative security issues.
• Support the office during refugee relocation activities, by coordinating with the protection department, administration and local authorities.
• Respond to staff queries on security issues and provide immediate assistance as required.

• Assist the Headmaster for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the school.
• Hold departmental meetings with colleagues to coordinate activities, update yearly programmatic planning and identify any issue that may interfere with the normal functioning of the department.
• Identify program needs (e.g. instructional materials and equipment, etc.) for the purpose of providing input to school administration that will enhance the ELD program.
• Monitor inventory of materials, equipment and supplies for the purpose of identifying required items to provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum.
• Take part in meetings, workshops, training sessions, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required.
• Respond to inquiries from school personnel for the purpose of providing information, assistance and/or directions related to the English department.Assist the Headmaster for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the school.

• Carry out security risk analysis and UN staff members on relevant mitigation measures.

• Implement and manage security activities at the duty station in close coordination with all UN agencies, Programs and Funds.

• Attend as an observer, all ASMT meetings and then produce the minutes of the meeting and submit.

• Support NGOs wherever possible in line with the Saving Lives Together (SLT) policy.

• Provide advice to UN staff members and their dependants on technical security requirements contained in the area Security Plan, Security Risk Management (SRM), Residential Security Measures (RSM), and other relevant policies and security guidelines.

• Monitor the security situation and provide independent and comprehensive security analysis with the goal of identifying trends and predicting the specific conditions that would impact on the safety and security of UN personnel, eligible family members, premises, assets and resources.

• Ensure that UN personnel are kept informed of matters affecting their security and the actions to take in the event of an emergency including those identified in the UN Security Plan.

• Ensure there is an effective and functioning communications system for security management within the Security area under my responsibility.

• Ensure that all UN personnel undertake all mandatory security training/briefings and participate in all security related contingency exercises.

• Conduct security surveys of international personnel residences in accordance with the Residential Security Measures (RSM).

• Conduct analysis to fully understand the issues that have an impact on the delivery of UN programs particularly in areas deemed security compromised.

• Establish contact and maintain networks with all UNSMS/NGOs security advisors and relevant local security forces as appropriate. • Institutionalize and share best practices and knowledge learned.

• Prepare, maintain, and update UN security documentation including security contingency plans. This includes the monitoring/reporting on security compliance and the submission of all Security Incident Reports (SIRs).
