• Was responsible for payment voucher initiation for payables by internal payment guidelines. Entry of vouchers in the electronic payable ledger and verification of amounts on soft and hard copies. Verification of invoices, errors, and fraud detection of overpayments to save the institution’s money. Recommended and worked in a team to change the accounting system to accrual resulting in about a 30% reduction in excess arrears payments.
• At the cash office was responsible for cash disbursements to internal employees of the bank while processing signed checks for external payees. Verification of amounts with supporting ledgers. Ensuring amounts are tallied with the aggregate sum on the ledger, counting, and verifying payments. Balance of cash in the till daily and preparation of daily cash reports. Proper maintenance of all daily payment records.

• Have collected and gathered evidence for forming opinions on the truth and fairness of financial statements of small, medium-sized, and large companies in Ghana. Reviewed Financial Statements for relevancy, accuracy, and reasonableness using analytical procedures. Assessed and reported opinions on the financial statement of clients to conform to Ghana GAAP, IFRS, and applicable company law concerning recognition and presentation. Performed audit risk assessment and put in place safeguards to reduce overall audit risk.
• Drafted management letters as part of the audit reports issued to clients for review by managers and partners. Drafted overall audit opinion based on evidence and analysis for various types of clients.
• Performed financial ratio analysis for client’s financial statements and advised them on their business performance and creditworthiness.
• Accessed client’s internal control for adequacy and robustness to assure truth and fairness of financial statements items such as revenue, sales, non-current assets, cash, and goodwill impairment.
• Conducted internal due diligence assurance assignments for various companies in companies in dispute resolutions.

• Responsible for quality control of the molding, melting, and heat-treatment operations of the company. Ensured production processes and materials met required standards. Was responsible for certifying the validity of all analytical tests and documentation of test results. Responsible for reagents and equipment calibration and raw material supplier quality audits. Conducted operational audits of all units to ensure production meets required national and international standards.
