"I had the absolute pleasure of having Beatriz care for my son, Benji, over the past three summers, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning, Beatriz proved herself to be incredibly caring, patient, and full of energy. She has a natural connection with children and a wonderful ability to engage them in imaginative and educational play. With her background in teaching, she would create games and learning activities that never would have crossed my mind, each day was a new adventure for Benji. Beatriz is not only creative and fun, but also deeply empathetic. On days when Benji was sad to see me go, she was always comforting and calm, helping him feel secure and happy. She’d often send me cheerful updates and photos of their time together, which brought me so much peace of mind. In our home, Beatriz was respectful, warm, and a joy to have around. She became an important part of our family life, and I am heartbroken that she returned to Portugal. I’m still unsure how we’ll manage without her this summer, she is a truly special person and an exceptional caregiver."

Cared for 2-year-old girl, five mornings a week, assisting parents during remote work in Covid-19 pandemic.

"I am happy to provide a reference for Beatriz! She deserves that and much more. Beatriz worked with our, at the time, 2yo. She was extremely flexible, and went all the way to support us as much as she could during Covid lockdown. Beatriz became a part of our family bubble and came to care for our toddler every single morning for months. She was a natural with our kid, great at following the lead of our child’s strong personality as well as providing necessary and safe limits for her to thrive and learn. Beatriz quickly learnt all the signs our baby used and helped extend her language and communication further. She went out to safe places to make sure she developed her motor skills and always focused on supporting her through attainable challenges. She is fun and playful and children absolutely love her. She is the kindest human being and a great person! At our home, we all love Beatriz and still see her yearly. We are looking forward for Beatriz to support us this summer again."
