Financial Statements

• Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements and presentation in SEC (U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission)
• Preparation of requirements to external and internal auditors, all required documents are prepared and supported according to SOX regulations.
• Support the tax team.

Earning releases

• Quarterly preparation of the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement and cash flow.
• Review and control of Quarterly Earning releases. This requires validating and supporting each amount and figure that is going to be exposed. Some of these amounts, figures or percentages are shared by teams such as investor, sales, etc.

Bookkeeping and Reporting

• Control of transactions of the holding company.
• Control intercompany operations.
• Preparation of monthly entries related to stock award
• Reconciliation review of BS accounting accounts
• Expense and cost analysis
• Control of the registration of bank transactions
• Cash flow preparation

Latam countries coordination:

Tax controller

• Control and approval of tax returns
• Approval of tax payments
• Tax notifications support

Stat controller

• Auditor support and assistance
• Coordination and approval of the audit calendar
• Support and assistance to the transfer pricing team
• FS review and probation
• Coordination of management letters and minutes
• Review and approval of cash flows
• Support to local teams of: treasury, suppliers, collections, facilities, payroll, Bookkeeping and Managers from Latam countries
• Control, review and updating of fixed assets

Financial statements:

• Preparation of Financial Statements in Local regulation, GAAP or IFRS
• Prepared all relevant documentation and submitted data for internal and external audits
• Sending of information requested by the transfer pricing team and review of reports to be presented to the regularization entities

Bookkeeping and Reporting:

• Control of journal entries to registered (internal control requested)
• Registration of intercompany journal entries (only enabled my user)
• Reconciliation review of BS accounting accounts
• Expense and cost analysis
• Approval of reconciliations in Blackline or ReconIntelligence. (Depends on the client's system)
• Control of the registration of bank transactions
• Review and approval report of intercompany transactions
• Cash flow review and approval
• Preparation of trade position report (weekly)
• Preparation of advance payments report
• Review and approval of tax returns made by the tax team
• Approval of tax payments
• Give tax support to service providers, clients, external organizations and banks
