• Ensuring guests are welcomed, managing housekeeping team and dealing with minor issues that may arise, in particular, maintenance issues.

During my time in Australia I applied for a job as a domestic assistant for an Australian family of 4, in exchange for free accommodation. My main duties consisted of:

• Executed household duties and errands such as house cleaning, cooking, laundry and gardening.
• Transported children to extracurricular activities.
• Took care of property when family went way for christmas holidays.

Groundforce is the leading portuguese groundhandling company for air transportation.

• While I was finishing my bachelor degree, I was able to reconcile studies with this job.
• Accepted check-in, carry-on baggage and boarding flights for TAP airline using AMADEUS software.
• Prevented security problems by carefully monitoring passengers and checking documentation.
• Helped passengers find designated locations for baggage checking and aircraft boarding.
• Assisted passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, VIP passengers and those in need of wheelchairs.
• Re-accommodated passengers in case of missed connections and cancellations.
• Kept passengers moving smoothly by using PA system to announce arrivals and departures.
