I'm excited to introduce myself as a candidate for the Learning & Development Specialist role. My journey began in small town in Leiria called Carreira where from a young age I started helping around the family grocery store and cafe house, being probably the main reason why talking to people comes very natural to me and why I ended in the HR world. I am currently living in Vilamoura, Algarve. I am a passionate person that likes to be involved with interest in everything in life, specially if it as something to do with people, my dog and my vinil record collection.
While in college I studied agronomic engineering, which provided me with a strong analytical background. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, I transitioned into business management, where I specialised in Human Resources. This path led me to a starting career as an IT recruiter.
In my current position, I have been responsible for the development of a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS), creating over 100 engaging e-learning courses. My role involves not only content creation but also the implementation of gamification systems to boost engagement and the organisation of special learning events focused on topics like cybersecurity and mental health for instance.
As I look to the next step in my career, I am eager to bring my skills in recruitment, onboarding, training program design, and employee development to a new environment. I am passionate about fostering a culture of continuous improvement and aligning training initiatives with both employee aspirations and organisational goals.

After a first successful year as a recruiter I took on new responsibilities as responsible for the Learning & Development department.
Main achievements and activities in this role from 2023 until 2025:
- Market research and analysis for Learning Management Systems (LMS);
- Define and develop a LMS from scratch;
- Research and analysis for the content creation;
- Content creation for the LMS (over 100 e-learning courses);
- Creation of a gamification system for engagement;
- Manage personal learning requests from all the company;
- Creation of special events for learning awareness like, Cybersecurity and Mental Health special months.

- Mentor of HR Summer Interns coming from a partnership with the Coimbra University of Psychology;
