Joined Champalimaud Foundation Breast Unit in its early beginning, having since then been committed to its development. Champalimaud Breast Unit was the first in Portugal to receive the European Society of Medical Oncology certification, fostering also several national and international research projects and collaborations.
During the past 10 years have built a solid clinical background and experience on diagnostic and intervention Breast Radiology, but always with a passion for research, learning and education.
Present goal | Dedicate the upcoming years to improving the knowledge and skills needed to become an independent researcher and educator, so I can then effectively contribute to close the still existing gap between open and ethical research and clinical practice as well as to educate future generations of medical scientists.
