I have been with Vestas since 2011, carrying out maintenance tasks, 3,6,12 and 48 monthly maintenance as well as troubleshooting, both electrical and mechanical, replacing faulty components when necessary on wind turbines such as V47 V80 V90 (2MW/3MW) V100 and recently V117 V136.
In 2020 my focus was on the 2.5 MW General Electric turbines, a big challenge considering the differences between the turbines. It was motivation to start almost from scratch. In this wind farm I encountered challenges that I had never encountered before as it was a platform that we did not work on and many of the tasks had to be developed by us as well as finding or adapting components/tools that we did not have, working a lot with the multibrand and ROC department.
Over the years I have been present in several large component changes using external cranes (rotor, generators, gearbox, blades, blade bearings, etc...) services where I feel very comfortable and I was even a team leader.
In 2018 I joined a commissioning team to put wind farms into production in Mexico.
