As a motivated Electrical and Computer Engineer, I possess a good background in the design, analysis, and optimization of energy systems. With experience working in a museum and participating in a paid summer work opportunity, I have developed very good communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.
Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Energy at Instituto Superior Técnico, after finishing my graduation with a merit diploma. In my Master's degree, I am working on the thesis "Development of a Probabilistic Method for sizing earth networks." with EDP's engineer Andreia Leiria supervision, which is giving me pretty good insights into International Standards and Norms related to Electrical Systems (Safety measurements, effects of faults, concepts like Touch Voltage and etc).

As a museum attendant for OTLJ, I worked in a historic house museum that featured ancient artifacts such as a wood-fired oven, clothing, and radios. My responsibilities included opening the museum, ensuring that everything was clean and in order, and welcoming visitors. During this experience, I developed and improved several key skills, including:
- Attention to detail: I was responsible for verifying that everything in the museum was in the right place and in good condition, which required a keen eye for detail.

Activities
I was a federate football player for the AF Horta association for a period of 9 years (2010-2018) and played for 3 local clubs in Pico and also played 1 year of Futsal for the school team having won the regional JDEs (Jornadas Desportivas Escolares) in 2018. During this time I met all kinds of people and had a lot of experiences. This experiences helped me improve my teamwork abilities, my communication, time management as I needed to conciliate school and sports, resilience as football is a very demanding sport and finally discipline.
I was also a trumpet musician for a local Philarmonic during a period of 3 years (2009-2012).
