I worked as a waiter in a bar during the summer, preparing coffee, serving drinks, and assisting customers. I developed strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to adapt and manage stress, always ensuring high-quality service.
Carrying out this academic work allowed me to deepen the knowledge of environmental management in the context of transport, especially in the identification and handling of dangerous goods, in addition to the development of an Environmental Management System for a port terminal. With this work, it was possible to better understand the IMO regulations regarding the transport of dangerous goods, making it necessary to correctly label the goods and segregate them.
It also allowed me to understand how an Environmental Management System should be created by a company, taking into account the six steps of the system.
