Manage all marine related logistics service, contracts and technical evaluation for marine transportation and services.

Supervise and manage Marine employees, support, mentor, and develop talents.

Management of all marine vessels operations, including maintenance, regulatory compliance, administration and customer service delivery.

Provide leadership and consultancy for issues impacting marine operations.

Ensure adherence of all SSHE policy and programs to ensure protection of people.

Conduct OVID Inspection.

Ensure all aspects of marine operations are conducted safely, reliably, cost effectively, and in compliance with appropriate rules, regulations and industry standard.

Conduct wire inspections on AHTS.

Conduct Pre-Onhire vessel inspections.

Conduct vessel vetting/ screening for Block-15.

Conduct Bock 15- EEAL vessel safety induction.

Implement effective safety function within all marine logistics vessels.

Implement effective training program onboard contracted logistics support vessels.

Identify operational shortcomings that have an impact on ongoing safe operations.

Implement effective safety programs, safety regime and safety training programs on all vessels chartered by ExxonMobil affiliate service in Angola.

Review marine operations guidance and procedures on a regular basis.

Perform vessel KPIs and Safety Statistics.

Vessel Incident/ Accident Investigations.

Perform clients evaluation.

Advise Shore base on vessels operations in Port on regular basis.

Conduct regular vessel compliance inspections.

Provide marine technical input during emergency response plan activation

Overview responsibilities for the entire vessel fleet operations for Luanda and Soyo Bases.

First link of contact between vessel, higher management, clients, Port Authorities, classification societies, agents, etc.

Ensure emergency response arrangements effectively in compliance with requirements and procedures aligned with ISM/ ISPS.

HR, recruitment, evaluating, development/ training program for the fleet crew.

Responsible for the offshore fleet of vessels with respect to HSE, incident investigation, coordination of inspections (OVID / CMID) and related follow up.

Conduct internal ISM/ISPS audits onboard vessels & shore base(s), Ensure vessel’s compliancy with Class, Flag state & ISM/ISPS requirement as well coordinating inspector’s attendance.

Overall Coordination & follow up with company’s approved medical facilities including medical evacuation arrangement.

Liaising on HSE matters with charterers including bridging documents.

Sailing as Master.

Support and `Stand in´ for the Operations Managers and Port Captain on duties as per above description.

Deck Officer and C/Officer on different type of vessel AHTS, PSVs, MPVs DP1&2 vessels, on different offshore operations, as rig move, anchor handling, tanker lifting (Stating Towing), straight supply, VSP surveys, etc. All based in Angola in different oilfield blocks with different charters as CHEVRON, BP, TOTAL, COBALT, ESSO, ENI.
