  • Contributed to approval process for cost plans on significant projects across Qiddiya, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Supported analysis of cost plans, comparing scope design benchmarks and rates to existing projects within Qiddiya and the region to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Assisted in cost and commercial management tasks, including pre-contract and post-contract administration for various asset types, enhancing project financial oversight.

  • F+G were appointed cost consultants for several assets within Mohammad Bin Salman Non-Profit City. These included a Science & Discovery building, Misk City Foundation HQ, offices and schools.
  • Managed 20 commercial staff and handled the business' P+L accounts.
  • Provided cost and commercial management, including pre-contract and post contract administration on all these assets types. I was the direct interface with the client on all key cost management, commercial tasks and budget queries.
  • Some tasks such included preparation of cost plans for various assets, procurement & tendering, preparation of contract documents for contractors & consultants, publishing monthly cost reports, review of variations and claims submitted by the contractor and other consultants.

  • Worked on various different types of projects for several clients and developers, providing cost management and project management services.
  • Some examples of the projects included a mixed use scheme with 413 apartments with an associated public realm and amenity spaces.
  • Another project consisted of 151 key hotel to brand standard specification.
  • I also worked on many feasibility studies and cost plans for universities, large commercial offices and much more.
  • Involved in feasibility studies for clients and developers.
  • These feasibility studies often progressed into the design stages.
  • I was subsequently responsible for producing cost plans and tendering these projects.
  • Some of the tasks and challenges were to ensure value is achieved and tracked throughout the design phases, which ensured that the feasibility study remained within budget.

  • Budgets were established for various residential schemes.
  • I then had to tender various work packages to incumbent subcontractors, ensuring the budgets were always tracked and monitored.
  • This involved driving value into the design with consultants where necessary and assessing & evaluating market factors and trends in the tender returns.
  • Ballymore is a large developer in Ireland and the UK.
