I am a reserved but dynamic person who has traveled widely since an early age and always been involved in community life coming from a very loving , joyful and secure family environment . I love life and have a very happy disposition and great sense of humor. I really enjoy communicating but I equally enjoy listening. I have my head well screwed on and take my responsibilities very seriously . My work gives me a real feeling of satisfaction and freedom.
I teach people in a very fun way to have confidence and balance on a paddle board. I start my lesson on the beach and follow through on the water accompanying my clients so I can teach them lots of skills to enhance their great experience.
I regularly walk over to people on the beach offering rentals and classes which has strengthened my communication skills as well as my salesmanship.
I rent out the Surf and Paddle Boards keeping an eye on them once they are on the sea for my clients safety and their timely returns. Due to wind and currents, complications can occur causing the need to rescue clients taken beyond their comfort zone. Having trained myself and continuing to train and learn both mentally and physically, I bring the clients back to the bay and assure them through my actions and speech that they are in safe hands.
I maintain all our equipment so they are always in safe and clean condition ie:- life jackets, watches, boards, fins, leashes, flags and our tent. I frequently take the work van down (mobile school) to the beach, seting-up, operating and packing-up the school by myself.
I also look after clients' personal items so that they can feel as free and relaxed as possible once on the sea.
I applied to the Royal New Zealand Air Force after extensive preparations and tests I was accepted passing both the mental, medical and physical tests. I wanted to do be trained as a Communications and Intelligence Officer ultimately becoming an Engineering Officer.
After being accepted I realized at 18 years old I needed more time for my personal development before becoming a part of the RNZAF. I feel this will be a career for me in my later years.
I am an analytical thinker and problem solver
I have always done benevolent community work while I was at school in France, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Grand Cayman and New Zealand.
I have done work such as picking up litter from the beaches, schools and communal areas.
Walking dogs from the refuge on weekends.
