Coordinate, manage and execution the work of the Legal Department which function is to support the company´s day-to-day and strategic operations in Angola. Manage and supervise the legal team. Develop and implement legal management system for the company (e.g. contract request and approval procedure, standard contracts, legal policies, etc.).

Provided general legal services to clients conducting or pursuing businesses in Angola. My client portfolio included small to medium sized private companies and individuals operating across multiple sectors, and on occasion public entities.

Provided legal advice and assistance on day-to-day matters to ensure compliance with Angolan law and Corporate legal policies. Implemented and monitored applicability of Corporate legal policies (eg. procurement of goods/services, anti-corruption compliance, etc.). Assisted Procurement function in contract negotiations. Assisted Corporate Legal office on strategic legal issues relating to company´s operations in Angola, including liaising with Angolan regulatory authorities.

Started as a Legal Intern in 2007 and was promoted to Associate in 2009 in which role provided business law and related legal advice and support to clients across multiple sectors. In 2010 I was named Partner and Head of the Natural Resources Department in which role provided legal services and support to clients operating in the natural resources sectors (international oil companies, oil service companies and government/regulatory entities), as well as coordinated, managed and supervised the team members. Participated in a number of law drafting projects and headed one of such projects.

Provided Angolan law related advice and support to oil companies and oil services companies operating in the Angolan market.
